FLOW
Like nature, nothing stays the same. Every wave is unique, every moment transforms.
Born in southern Brazil, Lucas is the founder of the Tainha Surf Project and has lived in Portugal for 8 years.
A competitive surfer since childhood, with deep technical and practical experience in the water.
Worked as a lifeguard on beaches in Brazil and Portugal — safety and reading the sea come first.
Combines experience, method, and dedication to teach every step of progress in surfing.
Helps students grow not only as surfers, but also as people
How it works
Technical analysis
Take your surfing to the next level with a training focused entirely on your progress.
The student surfs 20-minute heats, and at the end of each one receives immediate feedback — identifying mistakes and adjusting technique in real time.
This method speeds up learning, improves wave reading, and increases consistency in the water.
The session lasts 1h30 and is conducted one-on-one, respecting each surfer's level and goals.
The same day, the student receives the session's videos with detailed technical analysis, making it possible to track progress and train with more awareness.
Sessions recorded with a professional 4K camera, ensuring maximum quality for precise analysis
Training with
1-on-1 coaching / Briefing + session at sea
Personalized training, tailored to the student's level and goals.
Before the session, goals are set, movements are rehearsed, and sea conditions are assessed.
In the water, the student trains side by side with the coach, with direct guidance wave after wave.
Constant feedback after every wave, allowing immediate corrections and getting the most out of the session.
Training conducted directly in the water, side by side with the coach, from start to finish

Circuit training / Technique transfer
An on-land training focused on transferring maneuver technique directly to the sea.
Training designed to simulate on land the movements used in maneuvers at sea, making the technique easier to transfer to the water.
The session runs as a circuit, with each station focused on specific body movements used in surf maneuvers.
This method builds body awareness and muscle memory, making maneuvers at sea feel more natural and efficient.

How we book sessions
The booking process is organized strategically to get the most out of every session.
We assess the student's level and define goals. From there, we build a personalized training plan.
After the trial, the student joins our exclusive group, where we organize the week's sessions.
Every Sunday we send the week's forecast, pointing out the best days and times to train.
Days and times are always confirmed one day ahead, for the best read on sea conditions.
Students share their availability in the group — sessions are slotted in around the week's forecast
Training
Frequency and consistency
Packages for different levels and goals — regularity is what turns training into real progress.
We recommend two sessions a week, or at least one — regularity is essential for technical progress.
Sea conditions are never exactly the same, which is why frequency is key to adapting and progressing.
Just like gym training, results come from consistent presence and practice in the water.

The story
Saltwater since day one — and a life spent reading the ocean.
Lucas grew up on the coast of southern Brazil and started surfing as a little kid. The ocean was the playground, and it never let go.
For the past 8 years he's made Portugal home, training on its Atlantic coast through every season and every kind of swell.
For years he worked as a lifeguard on beaches in Brazil and Portugal. Reading the sea and keeping people safe became second nature — which is why, in every session, safety comes first.
And for years he's coached surfers of every level — from kids catching their first whitewater, to intermediate and advanced surfers sharpening technique and leveling up, wave by filmed wave.
